Hey ! It's been a couple months since I checked the MOG2 project to see if it was still alive, but I recently remembered this site and started wondering if there was a way people interested in it could help.

If I could, I would donate a couple bucks to support this cause, as the remakes here are pretty awesome and I would like to do what I can to support the current projects, especially MOG2. Is there a way the fans could possibly support this site's causes, such as Paypal donations?

Well, surely there's way people can (and they actually do) help the development, and some of them would be fixing bugs, make the code more portable, port the games to other platforms, submit bug reports, enhance the games, etc.

About money, I wouldn't know the answer to that question, All I know is that people here work on the remakes in their spare time for fun, but I don't know if there are web costs involved in the Braingames sites, so I'll leave that question to others to answer.

I think there are no web costs at all (or at least I'm quite sure they are so low as to be irrelevant), so that's not a problem.

The problem is mostly that all of us have busy lives, and our spare time is limited. Stuff like jobs and real life (tm) all demand a large share of time. And when we would accept donations, I would have no clue on what to do with it .

The most efficient way to support us is to occasionally place some fanmail like you just did. That's a big motivational boost; apart from the fun of creating remakes if helps to know there's an audience that appreciates our work. And of course like Iamweasel said, bug reports and contributions (not only code, but also graphics, music, ideas, storywriting) helps.
