Hi Popolon and friend,

I have enjoyed the remake of mog a lot.
I think you should make a quick sequel just like mog1!
Is that possible?

After that you kan develop mog2, then you have 2 nice
games.

When do you think mog2 arrives? (in weeks or months)

Thanks, Ron form the Netherlands.

Hello Ron,

I think the answer of your question is "when it's done"
You know, i'm waiting for this too, so much waiting that i can't work on my own game
Hurry up Popolon, please !

Well, no dates for Mog2 still...
The Mog2 engine is actually complete. But now the complete game must be created: story/graphics/maps

I always found having private forums is a bit silly. Why not just open it up? If it contains spoilers for the story or something, it's up to people themselves to read it or not.

Having said that: I won't ever consider working on MoG2 if it's done through closed forums. Open forums give other people the chance to give remarks or suggestions that in the end will improve the game.

But awell, that might be just me. Let's first finish F1 spirit anyways

Well, only the "storyline" forum is closed. But maybe just putting a but sign saying "WARNING SPOILERS INSIDE" on the storyline forum is enough... I don't know.

Well, anyway, as you have said: there are other projects to finish before talking about MoG2...

I was just wondering:
If memory serves me right "Maze of Galious" was part of a Knightmare trilogy.
Episode 1 being the more simple game knightmare,
Episode 2 being MOG
Episode 3 only released in japanese. An RPG me thinks.

Will the sequal be like the first MOG or will it be like the japanese RPG?

MoG2 is planned to be in the line of MoG (i.e. platforms, jumping, etc.)

Too bad Shalom isn't in english.

I just read the readme enclosed with MOG and I saw MOG2 is not Shalom (I feel like such an idiot :P)

Anyways, I'm curious about what MOG2 will look like.
Judging by the quality of the games you made so far, I won't have a doubt that this one will be another great game.
Keep up the good work.

I hope that the look of MoG2 is just like MoG, but with more decorated rooms, and with a more adventure elements (i.e. there will be a plot during the game that has to be followed, not just killing enemies and advancing).

Actually there is. It can be found from the following site:
http://msxfiles.sites.uol.com.br/shalome/

For some reason this translation patch isn't included in the Generation-MSX database.
