There's pretty much information here.  Thanks!

I can soon start practicing the secrets of coding, but after Magical Tree remake.

Hi all,

i write this a bit later... sorry.... and sorry for my english too.

I coded "Nemesis 1 - The remake" in december-2002.

You can found it at www.remakes.org, www.retroremakes.com or www.computeremuzone.com/remakes/

By working "motives" i leave project but you can play a 100% working game.

I have played it for a moment and it looks very great.
the N key is very helpfull in the game
the gameplay is a bit fast on a relative fast machine Pentium IV 3,06Ghz

Here is a direct link to the game for download

Hey, I've already downloaded and played it!

My comments:
In general everything looks extremely promising!! I see a lot of potential to this remake! I'll only give you some remakrs (maybe some of them are simply things that are still to be implemented, but anyway...)
- the scroll is too fast. if you have no "speed ups", you will be unable to catch a "power up" if it's behind you!
- the explosion of the enemies is too short (I think that this is still to be implemented though)
- I've noticed that the SFX are deactivated until 5-10 seconds of games so that you can listen the music. However, when they come in, the come in very "abruptly". I think that there should be a fade-in, i.e. a period of 1-2 seconds where the volume of the SFX raises till it reaches its normal volume.

For the rest of things: chapeau. I'm looking forward to further versions of this remake! btw, have you planed to redraw the graphics or are you going to use the original ones?

Hi,

thanks for playing, as i said before, i leave Nemesis project.... but it's possible that i 'retake' it in future.

- I don't understand why scroll is too fast... possible bug in RSI routine. I play this Nemesis in 3 different machines and runs ok in all 3 (PIII 1000, 800, 700). I think you are using PentiumIV, isn't?

- Yes, explosion of enemies it's too short :) only 1 bitmap if i remember correctly

- If you click on play, put the ship at center-left of screen and mantain spacebar pressed, when SFX enters you can listen the 1-2 seconds fade-in effect. But you are right, it's a little "abruptly" anyway.... 3-4 seconds are better :)

Thanks for your time playing game, i'm using graphics from MSX Nemesis adapted to 800x600.

My eternal problem is that i don't know graphists/musicians and i make all the work. Midis and samples are picked from internet.

Hi again :),

explosion are 4 bitmaps, i modified the time between it and i think looks good now.

And i modified the fade-in effect, i think now sounds better.

Thanks for all.
